    Who makes the best handplanes?

    Karl Holtey I believe.

    Holtey Planes

The Norris infill plane is the standard that pushed Karl Holtey to innovate and improve an already excellent design.

Nice to find fellow plane afficionados.
I made that plane in 1978 in the style of a Norris from admiralty brass and used an old Ward iron.
My plane doesn´t have the Norris adjustment, but is adjusted the old way with a small hammer.
    Best wishes,
    Hans Johannsson
